Lidl GB has submitted plans for a bespoke designed discount foodstore off the High Street in Berkhamsted.
The planning submission to Dacorum Borough Council follows public consultation including a drop-in exhibition and consultation with the local community.
A new Lidl foodstore at this site would increase shopping choice, provide Lidl’s affordable and high-quality products, and create around 40 local jobs.
Lidl has owned this site adjacent to Turner Court for several years and has looked at various options to deliver a new store. These proposals are deliverable and would provide much-needed increased affordable shopping choice for Berkhamsted residents.
Now that plans have been submitted, we are asking residents to please register their support to Dacorum Council:
Public support can make all the difference, so we’d be greatly appreciative if you could spare a few minutes to submit your views to the Council. Thank you in advance!
